2089 Heart and Dart - Agrotis exclamationis.

A very common species and widely distributed throughout Derbyshire. Its populations seem to be greater in the lowland region of the county, with highest numbers occurring in late June early July.
On the wing from May - early September.

Food plant - A wide range of wild and cultivated herbaceous plants.
