1920 Scalloped Hazel - Odontopera bidentata.

Widely distributed throughout Derbyshire and generally common. More so in the south of the county, particularly the Trent Valley and the Coal Measure areas.
On the wing from May to June.

Food plant - A variety of woody plants such as Hazel, Hawthorn and Blackthorn and also a variety of coniferous trees.
